I’m climbing Mt. Shasta today, which is so exciting!  I have always loved the transformative power of adventure, so every year I set a goal of completing a different physical challenge. Last year, it was completing a road Ragnar and a trail Ragnar.  The year before that it was completing my first Ragnar Relay.

While climbing Shasta is a big adventure(for me), it’s not something that fits well into a busy life.  I planned for six months to make this trip happen, both for physical conditioning  and for making sure my work is covered while I am gone.  It can be so easy to get caught up in the necessary parts of living a life, that you forget to stretch yourself in the way a physical or mental challenge requires.

Summer Adventure isn’t Just for Kids

So, since every summer I create a “Jar of Fun” for my kids, this year I decided to create one for adults.  It doesn’t require a lot of planning or time, but will definitely stretch your comfort zone, especially if you complete them all.

I have added a printable for you to download here!
